Fraud and the Elderly

In a perfect world, selfless children would be a daily presence in the lives of their elderly parents and family.    But whether it is a child or a neighbor, we all need to be vigilant to look out for one another.   Take time to check in on those that can no long take care of themselves.

If you have a parent or grandparent that is socially “isolated” and vulnerable, and it is not practical to have family members visit regularly, at least:  (1) call often;   and (2) consider using a paid companion.   When selecting such a companion, nothing takes the place of using a reputable company that gives training and background investigations for its staff.
